Established in 2016, The Monday Room restaurant has a long and vibrant history as the home of Modern Classic New Zealand cuisine in the Christchurch city centre. Situated in the historic Duncan’s Buildings on High Street, the restaurant showcases original architecture and character across multiple dining spaces.

With its ever-evolving seasonal menu, the restaurant has always focused on innovative twists on classic European cuisine, whilst showcasing the best in New Zealand produce. As a modern restaurant, we offer items specifically curated to meet most common dietary requirements, including: gluten free, dairy free, vegan & vegetarian.

Our menu is designed around the concept of a shared banquet, served in the style of a traditional family dinner.

The Little Monday Room is capable of seating a group of 22 where you can enjoy a private function with the best of service, knowledgeable wine assistance and simply great dining.
